Originality's the key.
This layout was fun to make. In fact, it was SO fun, I got a little carried away with the CSS coding... it might be a little
complicated, so try not to mess with it as much. I've also decided to completely remake the instructions, so that it's more
detailed. I hope it'll help you! I
seriously need a life.
THIS LAYOUT IS INTERNET EXPLORER & MOZILLA FIREFOX COMPATIBLE
The HTML coding's
intermediate level. All the
navigation was placed under a <DIV> with the
class "nav".
The navigation header was then placed inside the <DIV class=nav> tag along with all the links under that header category.
To create a new header box, simply
copy between the <DIV> tags
The
content is similar to that. I threw in a subtitle (in orange) for you named
<h3> and a content ender in green.
About the CSS
The CSS is very long. Please stay with me as I explain it in detail:
- .nav b: Edits bolded text inside the navigation
- .main b: Edits bolded text inside the main content
- h1: Header for main content
- h3: SubHeader for main content (orange in this case)
- h4: Content footer. optional. I used it for posting. ("posted by Jeni" in green)
- h2: Header for navigation
- .nav: The navigation box
- .main: The content box. It is the div class tag, so be sure to wrap all content from UNDER the subheader to ABOVE the footer (if you used one) with this tag
